Follow directions as for Macbeth Icefield trail but instead of turning of the Glacier Ck Road continue to the North Fork of Glacier Ck. Signposts should be evident indicating a left turn onto the North Fork and then a right turn switchbacking up the mountainside. The road travels quite high, stop in a large parking area with a clearly defined trail that makes a constant grade all the way into the Meadows. Views of the entire Glacier Ck valleys fill your senses as you hike up the trail, and you will be truly amazed by the subtle beauty of Monica Meadows. Small lakes and tarns, streams, wildflowers and other magic spots fill thousand of benches for hours of exploration. Camping is available in the lower area of the meadows in order to protect the fragile upper meadows. Mountaineering and further exploration usually begin by traversing north into Starbird Pass, or to the steep col. on the south side of Mt. Monica
